Tongariro National Park is an adventure lovers paradise, with active volcanos, incredible hikes and snow activities in the winter.

Hiking to Tongariro Alpine Crossing did not go as planned. However despite my horrible experience, it was still a beautiful hike which I would 100% do again. This blog post contains all the information you need to plan New Zealand’s best day hike.
